Kim Tak Goo is the illegitimate son of SAMHWA Enterprise’s President, Koo In Jong and his mistress. He is an extremely talented baker and seemed destined to succeed his father as president. However in the turns of events, Tak Goo’s mother is kidnapped and his inheritance rights taken away due to a conspiracy.
With the determination to find his mother he ends up in Pal Bong Bakery. There, he begins to find another goal which is to succeed to become the number one Baker King in the baking industry. With that, Tak Goo drives himself to search for his mother and rebuild his career from scratch.
